Cyan had been hosting Abbey Mortimer’s legacy HTML website for a couple of years, performing small web updates wherever required on behalf of its customer. But the site was rather static in appearance and lacked the option for the Abbey Mortimer’s staff to easily upload new job vacancies themselves.
Following the initial planning meeting for this web project, three clear goals were set, which our client felt would freshen up the look of its site as well as providing new operational benefits to its users.
Abbey Mortimer wanted a job board function to be central to the site layout, a it required the ability for candidates to sign up for new job alerts and, from a design perspective, it wanted to introduce a new secondary colour to complement the blue of its logo.
Once the site map had been defined and content transferred via dropbox, we set about building a site that satisfied each of these requirements. It’s main features are as follows:
-
WordPress CMS compatible with all major browsers
-
Responsive design for display on phones, tablets and desktops
-
Dynamic job board which can be managed by Abbey Mortimer staff
-
Ability to upload CV and sign up for job alerts
-
