Always seeking to improve its understanding of client needs in order to meet key performance criteria, Fireclad was looking to create a new website to showcase some of its most prestigious installations. It felt that presenting this detailed online portfolio would help complement the collaborative approach it adopts with clients.

Cyan met with Fireclad to discuss objectives for the site and identified three main goals. Firstly, the presentation of Fireclad’s most recent projects with scrolling image galleries filterable by vertical sector. Secondly, a news blog that could be easily managed by Fireclad’s own staff and, finally, a section dedicated to the company’s policies and procedures with downloadable certificates for potential clients. A vacancy page which allowed CVs to be uploaded securely was also requested.

Once the site map had been defined and content transferred via dropbox, we set about building a site that catered for all of Fireclad’s needs. Its main features are as follows:

  • WordPress CMS compatible with all major browsers

  • Responsive design for display on phones, tablets and desktops

  • Portfolio style site with projects filterable by vertical sector

  • Vacancies page where candidates can upload a CV

  • Dynamic blog which can be easily managed by Fireclad’s own staff

The quality of Cyan’s proposal was very high; they had really understood the brief and were competitively priced. Throughout the design process Cyan provided an excellent service, we are not an easy client and Stuart and Nicola went out of their way to be supportive and helpful. We are extremely pleased with the finished site and thoroughly recommend Cyan.
