Utility Safety Solutions offers training courses, consultancy and management systems within the utility and civils industry. With over 20 years’ experience in the sector, the owner, Gary McKenna, came to us with a clear idea of what he was looking for. We just had to turn his ideas into reality!
Cyan produced a simple yet effective logo for Utility Safety Solutions based around the concept of construction, onsite workers and safety. Strong, bold colours were employed, together with an easy-to-read font, to create a lasting and memorable brand. Once the logo was approved, we transferred this brand and the supporting idea behind it to a business card design.
The brief for the website was to create a simple, easy to use design, which would encourage the visitor to either request more information or book themselves onto a training course. The website needed to be as engaging as possible with links to social media, the ability to promote and manage new courses and events, as well as a strong portfolio feature, displaying syllabus information. All of these features needed to be easy to update by a non-technical user.
The new Utility Safety Solutions website definitely satisfies all of the functional requirements mentioned above as well as being rather pleasing to the eye with its abundance of imagery, web icons and interactive calls to action. But most important of all, we’re pleased to report that the client loved it.
