BEON Electrical are an established electrical services company that specialise in smart automation solutions for homes, commercial spaces and outdoor environments across Essex.

Having noticed an increase in demand for LOXONE technology and automation, BEON Electrical sought Cyan Marketing’s help to redesign their website and reposition themselves as specialists in this area.

BEON Electrical’s previous website gave greater prominence to its general electrical services than to its growing smart home and automation expertise. To support the company’s new positioning, Cyan Marketing restructured the website around this specialist offering, creating new pages, refining the copy and reshaping the user journey so visitors could understand BEON’s automation capabilities from the moment they arrived.

The visual direction was also transformed. Instead of opening with a showroom image, the new homepage welcomes visitors with a full-width smart home lifestyle image, immediately setting a more aspirational tone. As users move through the site, modern, technology-led imagery is paired with clear explanations of how automation can enhance comfort, efficiency, security and everyday living.

Smart living is now woven throughout the content, with dedicated automation pages moved into more prominent positions within the main navigation. This gives the service area greater visibility and ensures the website consistently reinforces BEON’s expertise in intelligent, connected spaces.
During the build, BEON also identified the need for clearer pathways for both domestic and commercial customers. The previous website didn’t make this distinction obvious, despite the company working with both audiences.

Because domestic customers are BEON’s primary audience, the homepage defaults to homeowner-focused content. Commercial visitors, however, can use a simple toggle in the header to open a commercially focused homepage with relevant copy and an amended menu. This makes both service routes easier to understand and helps visitors reach the content most relevant to them more quickly.

General electrical services remain an important part of BEON’s business, so we redesigned the services page to present them more effectively. On the previous website, their services were simply listed in a table, whereas the new webpage now gives every service its own dedicated section, offering more detail and encouraging more targeted enquiries.

The finished website gives BEON Electrical a more modern, confident and commercially focused online presence. It positions the business as a specialist in smart automation while still making its wider electrical services easy to find, helping visitors quickly understand what BEON offers and take the next step.
